Eight expeditions reopen a broken network — and reveal that Midgard was hidden for a reason.

Season one follows Project SolPorten from the first uncontrolled activation to the attempted opening of Bifröst. It begins as archaeological science fiction and expands one realm at a time. Each mission appears to increase Denmark’s knowledge and bargaining power. Only gradually does the team understand that using the network is repairing it.

The expedition arc

The human conflict mirrors the interstellar one. Freja insists that discovery does not create ownership. Voss believes delay only ensures that somebody else will take control. Elias must decide whether command means obeying the programme or protecting the people who make it possible. Signe’s intelligence role places her between both sides. Malik discovers that story may operate as executable instruction. Rune proves that Midgard’s lack of inherited permissions can be an advantage.

  4. 4. The Giant’s Measure

    The team learns humans can use any route and Solvognen was stolen.

  5. 5. The Dead Road

    Hel’s archives warn the team not to open Bifröst.

  6. 6. The Hostages of Midgard

    Vanaheim reveals Liv is a living map of the network.

  7. 7. The Rainbow Bridge

    Bifröst is found, Signe deceives Voss and Vidar arrives.

  8. 8. Sun Eater

    Yggdrasil is revealed, Vidar takes the Golden Face and Fenrir finds Midgard.
