Restructuring of the County Hospital

The County Hospital buildings in Aarhus are among the oldest hospital buildings in the area.
The hospital still houses a number of hospital services, but, like the other hospitals, the intention is for these to be phased out over the next 10–15 years, as services are gradually relocated to the new major hospital at Skejby.

There have been many proposals for a new use of the site, but no final decision has yet been taken. The list has included, for example, housing for the elderly, general housing and educational facilities.
