The planned development will offer both. The hall of residence will accommodate around 60 students, half of whom will be from abroad. The hall of residence will be situated at the University’s Trøjborg complex, close to the University and near Trøjborg’s popular residential neighbourhoods and Tordenskjoldsgade.

The project is expected to cost 40 million kroner, but half of this cost will be covered by a government fund for student accommodation. The fund expires in 2007, and the application was submitted at the very last minute. The problem had long been finding a suitable site at the right price.

The halls of residence are expected to be ready for occupancy in 2009.
