Work on the restoration of the Århus Å is progressing. The bridge over the Immervad was recently reopened. Unlike the other bridges along the newly opened stretch, this bridge is constructed of concrete.

It is expected that the section from Busgaden to Immervad will be completed before the Tall Ships Race in July 2007. However, the central wall will not be removed until the end of the year. The northernmost section of Frederiksgade is being repaved using the same types of stone as the rest of the area. Work has been underway for some time at Telefontorvet, and is now continuing down towards the river.
