Few people know this, but there is actually a direct train from Aarhus to Prague. The journey takes around 12 hours, which is roughly the same as driving there.
A single ticket, including a seat reservation, is available from around 500 kr with DSB Orange+.

The journey takes place in old-fashioned train carriages with a single locomotive at the very front. The carriages are divided into compartments, and there is a restaurant carriage on board.
Classic Czech dishes are served on board, primarily based on goulash, dumplings and eggs, as well as, of course, draught or bottled beer for 20 kr each. A completely unreasonable price in the Czech Republic, but not quite so unreasonable on Danish and German railways :-)

There is, of course, also a direct train back home. A route that starts all the way in Vienna. The train is the only European train (outside Denmark) that has Aarhus as its terminus, but unfortunately it seems this service will cease from Christmas 2007.
