jp.dk - Fighting dogs removed from the home of a neighbour of a childminder looking after four children
The debate about so-called ‘fighting dogs’ is taking an unfortunate turn. There is no immediate reason to assume that dogs which attack other dogs are also dangerous to humans, and although Section 6 of the Dogs Act formally authorises the police to impound such dogs, it is highly doubtful whether the removal in question can be justified under paragraph 2.
Who the neighbour is, and the number of dogs in their care, is of course completely irrelevant..
