Danish hosting company buys wind turbine - ComON
Power your home as the wind blows – It is, of course, untrue to claim that you are carbon-neutral when you still expect coal-fired power stations to step in the moment the wind dies down. Wind turbines generate more than they consume, but storage is not currently CO₂-neutral. If they switched off the servers when there was no wind, or alternatively moved operations around the world in line with wind patterns, then that would be something.
