The Beder–Bering Country Road

It has been decided that a high-standard road is to be built from Bering to Beder. The road is intended to ensure traffic flow to the southern development areas and will complete the ring road network around Aarhus.
Discussions about the road have ebbed and flowed for a number of years, but returned to the agenda in early 2007, when the Social Democrats and the Red-Green Alliance proposed that planning should begin immediately.

At the end of May 2007, the road was included in the billion-kroner agreement covering construction activities in Aarhus over the next 10 years.
The agreement stipulates that the route must be planned in good time to be discussed in 2008 and finalised in connection with the adoption of the 2009 Municipal Plan.
The road can then be built between 2010 and 2012.
